Inverell Community Violence Prevention Team
The Community Violence Prevention Team brings together local service providers, organisations and community members who share a common goal of creating a safer community for everyone.
The team works to raise awareness about domestic, family and community violence through education, advocacy and community events. By working together, members aim to encourage respectful relationships, promote early intervention and support people to live free from violence.
The Inverell Community Violence Prevention Team provides opportunities for local services to collaborate, share information and strengthen support pathways for individuals and families experiencing violence. The group also helps promote community campaigns, school education programs, awareness events and local initiatives that encourage safety, respect and inclusion.
Rural Outreach & Support Service is proud to auspice the Community Violence Prevention Team and support its work in helping create a stronger, safer and more connected community.
