We are committed to providing compassionate, confidential, and comprehensive support for individuals and families affected by domestic violence. Our Domestic Violence Support service is available to those living in Inverell, Glen Innes, Tenterfield, and Warialda.
Our Approach
Our approach is trauma-informed, person-centred, and safety-focused. We understand the complexities of domestic violence and the courage it takes to seek help. Our team is here to provide a safe space, support, and resources to those affected by domestic violence.
Our Services
Our services are tailored to the unique needs of each client and can include:

Access to Information and Resources: We provide up-to-date information and resources on legal rights, safety planning, and available community and welfare agencies.

Advocacy: We advocate on behalf of our clients, ensuring they have access to the resources and services they need. We liaise with and coordinate the services of Health, Department of Communities and Justice, Legal, Housing, and Community agencies.

Support and Advice: Our team provides emotional support and practical advice to help clients navigate their situation. This can include assistance with safety planning, accessing emergency accommodation, and navigating the legal system.

Referral Service: We have established partnerships with a range of service providers and can refer clients to these services for additional support. This includes referrals to counselling services, legal aid, and specialised domestic violence services.
