Warialda

Welcome to the Warialda page of Rural Outreach & Support Services. We are committed to providing essential services to the rural communities of New South Wales. Our mission is to support individuals and families in need, and we're proud to extend our services to the vibrant community of Warialda.

Warialda, known as the "place of wild honey," is a significant service centre located at the intersection of the Fossickers Way and the Gwydir Highway. It is part of the North West Slopes fossicking area and is surrounded by a number of national parks. Despite its many charms, like many rural communities, Warialda faces unique challenges. That's where we come in.

At the Rural Outreach & Support Service, we're committed to providing a range of services designed to address the specific needs of rural communities. In Warialda, we offer:

  • Counselling and Support: Our team of dedicated professionals provides counselling services to individuals and families dealing with a range of issues, from homelessness to family support.
  • Emergency Relief: In times of crisis, immediate assistance is crucial. We're here to connect individuals and families in Warialda with the appropriate support services. Whether it's help with food, clothing, or other essential items, we can guide you to the right resources and services to meet your immediate needs.
  • Advocacy: We stand up for the rights of rural communities, advocating for policies and initiatives that address the unique challenges faced by these communities.
  • Community Development: We work closely with local community groups and organisations to develop and implement initiatives that promote social cohesion and community wellbeing.

We're here to help. If you or someone you know in Warialda needs support, don't hesitate to reach out to us. Together, we can build a stronger, more resilient community.
